Tuition/Teaching Experience: I've had 8 years of tutoring experience and have taught an array of students ranging from local to international students. i have taught close to 30 students in my 8, coming 9 years of tutoring, specializing in English language for primary, secondary, JC, IGCSE and IB levels.

I work extremely hard with my students, understanding where their weaknesses stem from and working on them until they have thoroughly comprehended each weakness. Many students' downfall stem from their lack of vocabulary and i have personally come up with worksheets that help students to strengthen their vocabulary and memorize words in a more efficient manner.

Commitment / Other Details: i adopt a teaching technique where i require my students to actively participate during class discussions. This helps to ascertain the students' level of understanding and to ensure that they are on the right track before moving on to a different component.

After working with so many students, i understand students' common mistakes and have found a way to counter these areas.

My students have at least 1 grade jump within 6 months of joint handwork (students must put in the effort when homework is issued).

As i am currently also teaching in a tuition centre and am responsible of the teaching materials, i am very much in sync with the MOE syllabus.

I do believe that every student has the potential to excel with the right combination of hard work and right guidance. There is nothing more satisfying than to see my students excel and together, i am sure we can achieve more than flying colors for your child's grades.

Course Description:
Worksheets and course materials will be provided for each session.
There will be a weekly syllabus to follow each lesson that strictly adheres to the MOE syllabus.

Students sometimes work better in a group as they are slightly more competitive and thus are more inclined to perform and participate. The students churn out more creative juices during discussion time and this helps to bring out a more participative atmosphere, thereby helping students to improve.
By tapping on each other's enthusiasm together with the effectiveness of my teaching style, students will do much better and excel to greater heights.
