Rapport Building
I have a lot of prior experience teaching and connecting with many different types of students so I'm sure we can build a connection and work on your weaker topics together. Back in my schooling days, I was the co-chairperson of several creative Science camps held in Science Centre Singapore and was part of the Science and Math Talent Programmes in IP schools. Having taught many classes myself, I am very well-versed in Primary and Secondary level subjects and can definitely help you build a solid understanding of the techniques to score in examinations and master the skills and knowledge required to glide through your schooling journey. I also achieved a full score in my A level examinations and am well-positioned to aid you in all your queries for H1 and H2 Maths, Biology and Economics. I specialise in Economics and can provide many real-world extensions and applications for you in our classes. Besides that, General Paper is another strong suit of mine and I can provide you with notes and step-by-step guidance on how to craft an impressive essay argument while helping you build your vocabulary and English language foundations.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I am constantly keeping myself up-to-date with the present syllabus by contacting recent students and revamping my curriculum materials. As a dedicated tutor, I hope to solve all your academic problems and guide you through school in a worry-free manner. That also means I am able to pitch my syllabus at a higher standard than the school curriculum if you wish for me to. I will be able to tailor my speed and question types based on your requests and weak points.
As a Good Tutor
I will make lessons as painless and as interesting as possible. I aim not only to help my students and tutees ace their examinations but also enjoy the pursuit of knowledge. Education should be more than rote learning and boring sums and equations. Trust that no question is a dumb one in my classes and I will always be patient in my explanations.
