Commitment / Other Details
I am able to teach every monday and tuesday currently due to my working schedule, until mid august where Uni will resume and i will only be free on weekends.
Rapport Building
I love teaching and being a teacher used to be my aspiration and now that i am able to help students who are struggling, i am more than happy to. I love mathematics and i wish to see my students have the same kind of passion as i have when solving mathematics questions. I am also able to guide children through some chinese and english lessons if they need but my main passion is on teaching mathematics.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I would look through assessment books and ask students to purchase them so that i could go through with them and help them understand the concept more than just doing homework assignments from school.
As a Good Tutor
Firstly, being a good tutor requires patience. I must listen to student's questions and doubts and explain till they understand how things work. Secondly, being a good tutor has to have responsibility in the way i teach my students and also help to nurture them into better students not just academically but also mentally. Thirdly, a good tutor would never give up on their students no matter how much struggles there are. Perseverance is very important as well.
