As a Good Tutor
Thea ranked as an 'O' Level Top Scorer in CHIJ St. Theresa's Convent and received the Edusave Good Progress Award in 2018, as well as the Edusave Certificate of Academic Achievement for 4 consecutive years. As a volunteer Tutor at the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) from 2019 to present, Thea extended a helping hand to tutor needy children, some of which has special needs such as ADHD and depression. With her current status as a Student, Thea actively pursues her education and believes in life-long learning and continues to re-apply the curriculum she has learnt in her O-Levels to A-Levels. Apart from her strength in Academics, Thea embodies the traits of an effective communicator and leadership, being awarded the Colours Award for CCA in 2018 for exemplifying strong interpersonal communication skills. She is a patient individual who goes the extra mile to provide further academic support when needed. She hopes that by being a role model for her tutees, they would follow in her footsteps and achieve excellence in their academics.
