I often read the MOE syllabus (for Primary to JC level), to keep myself up to date and gauge if I am able to help the students to the best of my ability. I firmly believe in taking up the assignment only if I am fairly confident of being able to help.
As a Good Tutor
I believe it is essential that the tutors can help where available. Often, I find that tutees have questions on the go and not only during the lesson period. Hence, I have had assignments where the actual lesson is a bit shorter but the tutee asks questions on the go throughout the week, and I will try my best to help whenever available.
