Commitment / Other Details
Able to start immediately and will commit for as long as the parents require. Full attention is given to my students and will be active in updating parents of the progress.
Rapport Building
Strong personal track record in professional career; 3-years' as investment analyst before leaving to start business. I have a strong work ethic and share the importance of this with my students as well. I work well with people and can easily connect with my students despite the age gap because I can empathize with the difficulties they face. Life only gets harder, not easier. Tough situations do not last; Tough people do.

Many students that face difficulty in school may face the fear that they cannot do well because of the difficulty. When results during tests/exams are bad, this creates a negative feedback loop which further demoralizes the student. My lessons will have practices for students that helps them experience 'wins' to remove the fear of a subject. This breaks the negative feedback cycle and helps student strive for more and more 'wins'.

I will update parents on their child's progress, and will help them identify areas on improvement (i.e. time management/carelessness), and how to address these issues. I will also be easily contactable on my phone should there be a need.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have an excel sheet that tracks the types of questions tested in O/A level papers to spot topics and how to optimize studying for topics.

Have the latest curriculum that is being tested. This is not a concern.
As a Good Tutor
Grades up till the completion of JC/Poly is important. My aim as a tutor is to help students get the grades required to get into their target schools. At the same time, personal development/mindset is crucial for continued success.

I am a firm believer that an educator has the responsibility to develop both the hard and soft skills of students. However, schools may face difficulty with the combination of the above due to the large class size. This is where good tutors can shine in giving the students undivided attention to help them in developing themselves as individuals.
