Tutoring Subjects

Commitment / Other Details: I can start tutoring ASAP and commit for a fair period of time as I am waiting for my university to start this august and I can continue even after my university starts.

Rapport Building: I keep track of how the students perform in terms of studying and outside of studying(CCAs,hobbies).This build a trust between the student and me and the student would be more comfortable in sharing any problems he faces.I prefer the student to treat me like an older brother helping out instead of a tutor helping out.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I regularly check the syllabus on the MoE website every other month to Ensure my students are being taught the proper methods.Asking students as to how they are taught in school is a method I adopt to ensure if any changes is made to the way Teachers teach,I am aware of it and will modify my teaching methods to fit the curriculum.

As a Good Tutor: You have to be understanding and patient and Ensure students understand the topic properly before moving on.While teaching I Ensure my student have an enjoyable time and have a fond memory of the study sessions.Making the tuition time enjoyable will Ensure the student looks forward to studying and increase his motivation to do well.
