Rapport Building
I believe that people may forget what you say and what you do, but not what you made them feel. As such, I strive to forge bonds with my students, going beyond merely teaching a subject. Once rapport has been built, I observe that students strive to study harder for the subject not because they enjoy doing it, but rather they enjoy the learning process.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Being in the education industry, I remain up to date with the latest curriculum along with the teaching methods. As a teacher who strongly believes that students should reach the highest potential they can, I strive to find and craft lessons that excites students and makes learning an enjoyable yet meaningful process.
As a Good Tutor
To me, a good tutor is not about providing answers for the students, not about doing the homework that parents or teachers give to them, but rather to guide them to find the answers, to instil in students a mindset of "I can't do it yet but I can..."
