Keep up to date with the latest syllabus through MOE website. Prepare questions from latest schools examinations and assessment books. Access students' relevant textbooks to ensure teaching methods are relevant to school's method.
As a Good Tutor
Teach students according to their pace and abilities. Set suitable amount of homework and bring them home to better save time so that more lesson time can be allocated to teach new type of questions, topic etc. Go through questions that students get wrong and prepare similar type of questions for more practice. Understand student's weaker topic and focus more on them. Nearing exams, prepare relevant school papers for them to practice. Provide student with my contact number so that they can text me anytime for questions they face difficulties with.
