Rapport Building
I firstly will try and make friends with and understand my student, as I believe every student is different and have different ways/speed of learning. I think there is no one size fit all method for learning and like to cater to each student's needs. I am also a Taekwondo instructor so I have experience interacting and teaching students of a wide age range, from kindergarden to JC level). I have different methods for teaching different individuals as I know they have varying capabilities. I maintain a friendly and caring relationship with my students and they enjoy my teaching and always show improvement which makes me very proud. I would interact with mt student's parents to better understand the student's background as it plays a part in the student's learning as well.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Textbooks, assessment books, practice papers.
As a Good Tutor
Patience, understanding and efficiency. I believe a good tutor must never put their student down and always motivate them to work hard. A good tutor must attend to specific needs that are not covered in school and do their best to help students improve.
