Keeping Up with Curriculum
I make sure I always am familiar with MOE syllabuses, I prepare my notes and materials for the individual student. I spend time to current with the changes in the curriculum. So many changes have been made to the teaching curriculum as well as the PSLE tests, which I check the MOE website and tutor forum. Besides, I'd purchased or downloaded past year and recent paper, and write notes while practising on my own. For exmple, maths, i believe that there will always be more than one working. Therefore, all my maths student are encouraged to solve question in various solutions, which helps with their multidirectional thinking. The training of converse thinking in the teaching of mathematical analysis is suitable in every curriculum changes.
As a Good Tutor
All my students described me as their good friend. During the classes, I've developed my style of teaching, different tips and tricks for kids to retain information well. I've helped non chinese background student to improve their grades, create a newfound love of the language and develop an interest in it. And boost their confidence in using this language.
