To parents, i will assure them that i know what it takes to get good grades as a student as i have been able to do it myself. While i understand that getting good grades is important for their children's future, there are other aspects of the child's development that should not be neglected and sometimes focusing on them could help their children succeed academically.
To students, i want to let them know that studying is not just for the grades and getting into good schools. It is also about personal development (e.g. development of critical thinking, being logical in their thought process, cultivating the grit that will help them whenever they face any difficulties/hurdles in life)
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have tutored my cousin when he was in upper primary and to keep myself updated with the current curriculum, i wouldn't mind expending some resource to keep myself updated.
