Commitment / Other Details
I will be in the Netherlands from December to June every year to work on my PhD. I will be available to start anytime from June until December.
Rapport Building
Students can be discouraged from learning new concepts because of information overload. I break down difficult concepts into a few manageable blocks, and show how these blocks can be understood from previously learnt concepts. How this is done will depend on the student's personality and experience. The new concepts will be patiently built up from these blocks. The student can then see that difficult concepts are learnt through the accumulation of easier concepts. This will introduce the student to learning systematically, with the view that this habit of systematic learning will also be used in his/her future career outside of the classroom.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have been tutoring for the past 3 years, and work with my students through their various GSCE/H1/H2 syllabuses. I am therefore aware of the minor updates in the mathematics/literature/KI syllabuses.

I have also tutored students from polytechnics for some engineering classes. Curriculum will depend on the individual lecturer.
As a Good Tutor
For my lecturing job: 30% "A" grade for my past few cohorts. Consistent student feedback of at least 8.0. (Proof available upon request).
