Commitment / Other Details
I am able to start immediately and am able to commit for the next few years since this will be my part time job.
Rapport Building
I will always update the parents on their child's progression after every lesson and give them advice on how to make improvements outside of tuition
Keeping Up with Curriculum
As a Good Tutor
1) Good tutors have to be able to commit to teaching the student as it will be difficult for the student to progress if his/her tutor is always changing.
2) Able to improvise to suit the needs of the child. E.g if the student has short attention span, explaining something to them through pictures or examples will be better than explaining verbally.
3) Engaging. Students that I've taught before are often uninterested in their studies so we have to find ways to make the lessons engaging such that they will find the lessons interesting and put in more effort to learn
