1 year and 4 months. Helped a female student from P5 to P6 improve from borderline failure to above passing grade. Very patient teacher who genuinely cares for her students.
I will chat with my student to find out their interests, understand the reasons why they find the subject difficult, and share my own experiences on how to cope better in school. I am open to students texting/skyping me after class if they face problems and are eager to learn. As for the parents, I try to explain where the student is struggling and what additional practice assignments are recommended to strengthen the weak areas.
