Rapport Building
I believe that it is important for teachers to know their students better, as i believe that this would help me understand their learning style better, and cater lessons just for them. As for the parents, i also believe that it is important to update them about their child's learning progress, so as to reassure them that their child is in good hands. If they have any feedbacks for me, i will also be open minded and improve by myself.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I buy all types of textbooks and assessment books from the bookstore, and cross reference them to keep up with the curriculum, and also to change up my lesson content.
As a Good Tutor
I believe that good tutors must be responsible for their student's well-being, making sure that they are in the right attitude to learn. They must also be encouraging, helping the students to push forward and improve even though their results might not be the best. Lastly, i believe that tutors must have a wide interest on the subjects that they are teaching. They must be extremely knowledgeable and is welcome to any questions regarding the subject that they are teaching.
