Lesson start off with asking about the child's day at school and hows the workload. Understand any issues/difficulties faced in school. Will interact with any younger siblings if any as well. Have been having good relations with previous students' family.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Researching online and updating myself with my younger brother (currently in Primary 6) work and also coaching him whenever needed.
As a Good Tutor
Needs to be patient and spend time to coach the student in the event that they do not understand the method being taught. Willing to teach and explain to the student in a way that they can understand better since every student has their unique way of understanding things. Able to provide and prepare proper materials and also any additional materials to aid the student in whatever ways whenever required. Build not only a mentor-mentee relationship but also become a friend with the student where they can share more about themselves with you and hence from there understand the student better to mentor them better and help them improve their studies.
