I'm able to commence immediately & can commit till required. I'll be conducting group tuitions at Tampines, starting April, every Sat and Sun from 10am-2pm.
Rapport Building
I'm currently pursuing a degree in Mathematical Sciences in Nanyang Technological University.
I create revision worksheets for my students, after covering contents of a chapter, to gauge their understandings on the topic that was taught.
My students have made an average improvement of at least 2 grades.
I am currently tutoring primary 3 and primary 4 students mathematics at a tuition center, along with a secondary 2 and 2 secondary 3 student e'maths and a'maths.
2 of my students recently sat for their N'level and O'levels, respectively. My N'level student made a major improvement - from U in prelims to a B3 in his finals. My O'level student attained an A2.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have acquaintances who are in the education industry and I have friends who have also been tutoring for years now. Any changes in curriculum is made known to me via these channels or my students.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor is one who is patient with her student, who understands that not all students' learn at the same pace. A good tutor is able to deliver the knowledge across to their students. If a student does not understand a concept, a good tutor will find another way of getting the content across to the student. A good tutor is also able to develop a strong teacher-student relationship so as to ensure the student enjoys tuition.
