I am able to commit on any day of the week that does not clash with my university time table. Namely on weekdays I'm able to commit after 6pm and on weekends I can commit at any time.
Rapport Building
I always ensure that I keep a clear chain of communication with my students and their parents. For my students, I always let them know that outside.of tuition, they are always welcome to WhatsApp me about any question they may have at any time and I will respond with my guide on how to solve the question asap. As for parents, I'm always open to any concern they may have aboiut their child and always update them on their childs progress.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
With my many resources at hand, I always stay fresh in the subjects that I teach and am able to ensure that I can keep up with any curriculum changes that are announced my MOE. I update the worksheets I have prepared for my students often to keep up with the syllabus.
As a Good Tutor
As a tutor with strength in Maths and physics, I'm able to guide my students with misconceptions that weaker students commonly fall for. As a student who used to struggle with secondary school maths, I am pationate about showing students the clarity I saw in my A maths that allowed me to eventually achieve the A I was looking for. My method of teaching is less of providing the answers and more of guiding my students to the answer with parallel forms of thinking and providing real life examples so that they can grasp the idea better. This way, the student is taught how to handle questions like this and the steps to take to solve such questions rather than just given an answer without a guiding hand.
