My commitment to professional development and tertiary studies has enabled me to adopt an active role as a Leader of Learning amongst staff at my previous school. My interest in learning has led me to study a Master of Education (Educational Psychology) at Sydney University. These studies have provided me with deep insight into a vast array of educational theories and different learning practices. I have also undertaken several professional development courses relating to the teaching of gifted and talented students. These experiences have helped me develop into a teacher that can adapt to a diverse range of student needs, enabling me to create a classroom that embraces innovative pedagogy and accommodates a wide variety of learners.
