As a Good Tutor
I am the sort to strive to internalise concepts rather than repetition, and that is the potential role a tutor can play, being that teachers often do not have the time to commit to coach at a one on one level. A tutor has to aim to fill that need. Also gotta be cheerful and understanding, and of course patient!
