Rapport Building
I build trust and communication with my students, and it is always heartwarming to know that they build their confidence and interest in the subject over time. I have very good communication with their parents and they also text me regularly when I was still in the teaching service, to know about the students' progress. Till date, I still keep in contact with some parents of the students who I no longer teach.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I am constantly in touch with the curriculum and the examination requirements due to my involvement in school. I also have a pool of resources from different sources of teachers I have contacts with.
As a Good Tutor
I strongly believe in the different abilities of the students and that different methods will work with different students. I have been able to strike a strong interest in the subject within students who have difficulty. They all grow to like the language and are more receptive to learning. Which is the most important first step. Apart from dynamic learning in the language through visuals like video clips of news and current affairs that students can relate to, there will also be drilling of the language where they can learn how to apply what they learnt and memorise and practice into the actual writing and reading of the school texts and papers.

2) Writing
3) Speaking
There are different sources I use, mainly online bitesized news and interesting texts and stories. there are also important relevant practice papers from schools that I have written and set.

The students from graduating batch have all benefited and show a big improvement in their O level exams. Scoring B3 and distinctions, from an original of failure cases.
