Tuition/Teaching Experience
5 years experience working with Sec 3,4 and 5 NA and Express students. I find it best when working in small groups of kids who may find it difficult to do their best due to the pace of the syllabus.

Commitment / Other Details
Able to start now and commit for a year or more. Tuition will be a group setting of 4 students, in my living room (air-conditioned). Students need only bring writing materials.
Rapport Building
Students all have their own needs, and more often than not what is needed is time for them to reflect and consolidate their own learning. My lessons will provide the environment needed for them to both 1) identify misconceptions in their learning and 2) a space to form their own understanding of the syllabus and 3) to test their understandings for issues.

Parents are advised to help by ensuring that said students keep up with their daily lessons and school, and that their child is able to provide me with their progress reports in class.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Current school teacher.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor, or teacher for that matter, needs to be very familiar with the syllabus as a basic requirement. It is more than just knowing what the schools are teaching, but to understand the the subject itself. Sadly, most teachers and tutors are satisfied teaching what other educators are doing, which often leads to a student's poor grasp of the topics, and inefficient writing and thinking processes.
