Commitment / Other Details
I am flexible with tuition timings and am willing to teach at the convenience of the tutee
Rapport Building
I feel that building a bond with the student is essential for the student to do well because it enables me to identify the strengths and the weaknesses of the student & that's how the student is able to improve by working on the weaknesses and improving on the strengths. I would also update the tutee's parents on the students progress so that parents can monitor the students and Ensure that the student is headed in the right track so that students realise their true potential and achieve their goals.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Keep up with the updated syllabus yearly and study the specimen papers together with the content outline which states the topics tested and the content required for the topics for the examination. Ten year series is also a good judgement on the difficulty of the examination so that tutors know the standard of questions to be tested.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor should have an:

1) An engaging personality and teaching style so that the teacher holds the attention of the student and is able to bring the best out of the student

2)clear objectives for lessons, a great tutor establishes clear objectives for each lesson and works to meet those specific objectives during each class

3)good communication with parents is important so that parents are able to monitor the students and make sure the students are heading in the right track

4) high expectations, a great tutor has high expectations of their students and encourages everyone to always work at their best level
