Rapport Building
As my age gap with students is not very big, i find it easy to relate to them, and it will likely be the same on the students' end. At the same time, I can be very firm with my students when it comes to completing their work, and the effort they put in. I feel my relationship with students will be akin to that of a peer support leader, or student councillor in school, with a junior.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
It has been less than 2 years since i graduated from secondary school, thus the syllabus is fairly familiar to me. Furthermore, I have access to recent past year papers, and can purchase the necessary assessment books for my own reference, and to find suitable practices for my students.
As a Good Tutor
I believe that all students can excel in their studies if they can understand and apply the principles and thought process behind each question and concept. I want to help students to apply such a thought process.
