Rapport Building
With the parents, I usually report on what I have done with the student that session, and tell them where are the weaker areas of the students, so that the parents can also focus on those areas. With students, I prefer giving them an incentive to do well, such as giving them rewards when they learn a topic well, and show improvement rather than focusing on test scores.

As a Good Tutor
Good tutors should be able to adapt to the different learning styles of students, and help them to learn the concepts well, rather than just focusing on getting the correct answer for the tests and exams.
