I've taught for 2-3 years. I'm patient and good at building a good foundation, helping students get a good grasp of grammar and develop a writing style that would score well in exams.
I'm able to commit both weekday evenings and weekends. Able to start immediately.
Rapport Building
I typically update them monthly and ask them for any areas of improvement that they'd like me to work on as well. I provide tips and tricks for building exam confidence and I try to refer them to additional material if needed.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I constantly check out free test papers online, to see a varying range of difficulty so as to better improve my teaching and to gain new insights and tips to give to students.
As a Good Tutor
I think being patient and firm is very important. It is also important to be dedicated and determined to work hard together with your student so that they are able to gain confidence in attaining the results that they would be aiming for.
