I am 40yo with 2 kids. Son in P4 and daugter in p1. I know thr syllabus quite well as I coach my kids in their studies and my son is doing reasonably well. -90% and above since p1.
Rapport Building
I am not that experienced. But as a parent myself i would expect tutor to update me on my kids' progress and highlight any areas that requires more attention.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
My kids are in primary 4 and 1 respectively. I keep myself abreast of syllabus since i m also actively coaching them in their studies.
As a Good Tutor
Conscientious. Treat your students like your own kids.
