I have been teaching English for 1.5yrs. It has been a fulfilling experience of seeing my tutee grow as a learner and seeing her improve in the language from C6 to A2.
Beyond teaching the subject, i took time to build her confidence as a learner.

Rapport Building
I believe in positive reinforcements. Students these days often get caught up in the rat race for grades or feel like they have lost hope in themselves. However, I believe that if the student is willing to put in the effort and find meaning in his or her work, improvement in grades will slowly come. It is important to get to know the student as an individual and tailor lessons to suit that tutee's style.
I am patient and hardworking. I take joy and pride in slowly working together with the student to improve.
I value working together with the parents and understanding how the parents view the child to build the child up as a person.
