Keeping Up with Curriculum
I will actively seek out current assessment books and textbooks of the level that I am teaching to ensure that I am teaching the student what is required to score.
As a Good Tutor
Firstly, being approachable and relatable is essential for a tutor as it allows the student to be confident in bringing up his or her's weaknesses and mistakes to their tutor. This allows students to also find joy in their learning as they are being taught by someone who cares for them as an individual and not just as a student.

Needless to say, a good tutor must hone his/her craft and keep up with the curriculum, ensuring that he is keeping his due diligence to teach his student well and properly.

Thirdly, I believe a good tutor must have the humility to understand that tutors can be wrong too and there is also much to learn from one's student.
