Students I have volunteered with in the past have described me as cheery and friendly. I like to build rapport with students by approaching them both as a friend and tutor and show them I care by finding out more about their hobbies/life. I will demonstrate that I empathise with any difficulties they might be facing academically and be encouraging in helping them to improve.

I will be patient and encouraging in helping students to see beyond any difficulties they might be facing. I like to take a systematic and organised approach in teaching key concepts that can be applied across a variety of questions. I am passionate about interacting with and tutoring children/students as I sincerely hope to help them enjoy the learning process and subject whilst making improvements in their grades.
