Tuition/Teaching Experience
The past year that I have been tutoring primary students with their maths has been fruitful as they have done well individually. They have been very consistent and even improve in their results.
Able to commence immediately.
Tuition assignments are usually 1.5hr-2hrs and conducted in a one-on-one session.
Rapport Building
I will keep up to date on how the student is progressing. Usually understanding their needs and patterns as I do not want to stress them out with loads of learning since they have already been attending classes during the day. Helping them out with what they are unsure of is usually my type of teaching, from there I would ensure recaps on what they have been learning on every lesson and how they have been putting what they have learnt into practice as we go along with our weekly lessons.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
On my side as a tutor, I take records on what I have taught and how I go about doing them. Weekly reflection before every lesson by myself plays alot of part for me as a tutor to ensure that I am sure of what I am instilling in my student.
As a Good Tutor
Responsible, patient and friendly. This is because every individual student have their own way of understanding and learning. It pays to make every lesson meaningful as it is shows how the students are able to enjoy and look forward to every lesson and it helps with them remembering what they have learnt along the way.
