Commitment / Other Details: I'm able to start tutoring immediately and I can commit to over a year of dedicated tutoring.

Rapport Building: I'm very good at connecting with people and understanding what problems they are facing and try to come up with suitable solutions to tackle any difficulties that my tutees face, which will allow them and their parents to be more confident in their academics and be more motivated.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: Given that there is such a wide scope of subjects, I don't think anybody can claim that they are familiar with all topics, but I am willing to learn the entire topic for my student so that I can teach them about it, and I already have in the past, when I studied the Vietnam War in order to cater to my student's needs (he scored an A in case you have any worries about me not being familiar with a topic). I also regularly read The Economist to keep up with any current events that can be used as examples within my tutees essays to add more depth.

As a Good Tutor: I think that often times many students struggle with fundamental concepts which weren't taught properly to them, preventing them from really understanding their subject so I try to identify any missing pieces in my tutees understanding of the topic in order to facilitate their study of the entire subject. Also students are often unable to properly communicate their knowledge in essays as they know the information but score low marks, so I also include essay writing technique on top of teaching the syllabus.
