Rapport Building
Generally it is important to have trust between the students, parents and the tutors. That is why I will remain honest and transparent with whatever I feel and whatever information that I feel that all parties should know about. Additionally it's important for the student to be comfortable with me thus with this in mind I will try to understand their needs and issues that they may have, not just with school. I will also regularly communicate with the parents about the progress and also update or advise them steps they should take.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
To keep myself updated I frequently take references from past year papers from other schools and assessment books available on the market. I will also compare reference materials between my students to ensure all gets the same access to the same level of resources.
As a Good Tutor
The very main qualities are that of passion and dedication. Only with the will to help others then will the others be able to receive genuine help. Dedication is important such that no students get left behind. Adaptability is another important trait as I believe there is no one size fits all approach to tutoring. Every student is unique thus requiring a different method of approach. I believe I posses the aforementioned qualities and I'm able to help students to achieve greater heights.
