Tutoring Subjects

Commitment / Other Details: I am able to start immediately, for at least the next one year, and schedules further on can be further discussed.

Rapport Building: I usually spend more time at the student's house even after the tuition to speak with the parents, and if the student request for me to play board game/spend more time with him i would stay. I also try to reach earlier so that i could speak with the parents about the student's progress and check with the student what he has learnt in school etc.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I have many friends that are working in MOE certified schools teaching english/maths/science/chinese and i get updated regularly with any new syllabus/curriculum and i'm with familiar with the textbooks they are using.

As a Good Tutor: I think patience is very important, you are only able to watch the child grow if you're patient, since growth does not happen overnight. Classroom management is also important, having patience with the student does not equate to being flexible/loose in discipline, having the right set of rules and standard right from the start of the first lesson is important to ensure that the student can learn to his maximum capability in all his tuition lessons.
