I think a good tutor is someone that is able to teach students how to apply what they have learned to their real life and able to educate them to be an independent learner instead of always waiting for people to guide them. A good tutor will not use grade as an indicator to determine the capability of the student as it is not reliable given that everyone has different strengths and weaknesses. Instead, it is their curiosity and the efforts they put in that will make them good students and these are also essential skills that will allow them to take on greater things in their life. A good tutor will also put in their utmost effort in teaching their students such as preparing for lessons and doing their homework to ensure their teaching method will suit the student's learning ability.
