Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have never officially tutor someone before, but i have the passion to teach and have always wanted to impart knowledge to others and boosting their understanding of sibjects that i enjoy.
I am able to start tutoring as of January 2018 up till the end of the year.
Rapport Building
I would share about myself to both the parent and student and be completely honest in my sharing. I would aim to gain both the respect of the parent and student as well as continuously show care and concern regarding his/her progress and development (ie. asking question via text outside of tuition timing)
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I would be reading up about the changes in the syllabus if any as well as the learning outcomes for the subjects that I will be teaching. To Ensure that the sessions conducted as precise and targetted.
As a Good Tutor
I believe that a good tutor always has the students wellbeing as their top priority. In my own perspective a good tutor aims to show the students the big picture of the various subjects for better understanding rather than just aiming to get good grades. As with greater understanding the student would be able to tackle and understand the requirements of the questions much better. Improvements in their grades would come naturally.
