Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have taught Secondary 1 to Sec 4 Mathematics for the past 3 years. I also have taught primary school level mathematics and science in 2015 and 2016 as well.
Able to start with immediate effect on weekends. Able to commit for at least 3 months.
Rapport Building
I am very patient when it comes to teaching others. I usually allow students to practice questions ranging from easy to challenging once they have learnt their concepts so as to make sure they understand the question instead of just plainly memorizing. I always go at the pace that students are comfortable with and make sure that they learn something beneficial at the end of every lesson.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I usually look through the current textbooks and assessment books that are being used and try to simplify those challenging concepts to make sure that students understand them better.
As a Good Tutor
I feel that a good tutor should be patient and understand the strengths and weaknesses of the student. A good tutor is someone who can keep the student continually engaged and make them enjoy a subject/ topic that they are usually not fond of.
