Commitment / Other Details
I am free mostly during weekdays and will be able to commit as soon as possible, up to a year per student if necessary.
Rapport Building
I have a great time with students mainly because I treat them as my equals instead of establishing the concrete role of teacher and student. I like to present myself as a peer to whomever I teach, so that being approachable, there's nothing they won't decide not to ask. There's nothing wrong with failure, and I hope to impart that to my students and ultimately come out of it enriched - for us both.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I often look through the syllabus material online and through assessment books and exam papers to get a feel of the curriculum each year.
As a Good Tutor
Patience, friendliness, compassion. Getting answers wrong is inevitable and non-negotiable; I believe good tutors are able to see past that and help their students at their weakest. Good tutors also can inspire students to love the subject being taught.
