Commitment / Other Details: I am now a full time tutor and customized my teaching according to the ability level of the child. With my experience, I will be able to help your child fulfill his/her academic potential.

Rapport Building: During the first lesson, I will bond with the child by seeking to know his/her interest and try to use what the child is interested in into my lesson. Besides good grades, getting the child to love the subject can lead to life long learning.
I am a patient and committed tutor and and had taught all kinds of ability levels during my career as a teacher. I was taught a P6 class who was known to be a notorious class and had very poor results. I spent a lot of time during teacher period interaction periods to speak to each and everyone of the students to get to know them better and to seek the root course of their poor academic results. At the end of the year, all the pupils managed to get into secondary school and it was also the year where the school achieved the best results ever for Mathematics and Science.
I keep parents informed of the child's progress after every lesson and I give advice to parents on the part they can play to help their child with Mathematics and Science.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: Since I just left the profession in May, I am very familiar with the syllabus and am trained in the latest pedagogy. In fact, I held the position of Senior teacher (Science), a position that is recognized as having the best teaching practice in the cluster schools. I am a experienced PSLE Science marker for the past 16 years and is familiar with the requirements of answering Science PSLE questions.

As a Good Tutor: I cater my lesson according to the ability level and interest of the pupil. I believe that each pupil has his/her learning style and I provide individual notes and develop my own worksheets based on the student's area of weakness.
