I am only able to do weekday nights and weekend afternoons. I am unable to host students but am willing to travel.
Rapport Building
First, I will assess what kind of learner is my tutee; is he responsive and interactive or is a passive learner. This allows me to speak their language so that he/she could identify with my teaching. Next, I will want to find out the strength of the tutee and focus to build that and ensure that we can harness his/her strength to overcome the weakness that he/she encounters in the particular subject. I also believe in keeping up with current affairs and news of the world; as much as I can. Finally, character building is very important in my teaching as well. It is imperative that I impart some useful life lessons and anecdotes to my tutee to help him/her to be a better person.
