Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have been tutoring english and math subjects for 3 years and I witness my students' grades improve from below average to normal standards. I believe in learning through fun and play!
I'm able to start anytime and I can commit for the next 2 years.
Rapport Building
During the first lesson, I will ask the parents about their concerns and the areas they would like me to focus on. As for the student, I will usually introduce myself and also ask questions about their school, homework and hobbies. I am flexible and I allow the student to text me whenever they have urgent questions outside of tuition class.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I would go to SEAB website to check out the latest syllabus for various levels and browse through papers from different schools to get a gauge of the academic standards.
