I am applying as a paid tutor for the first time. During my time in Polytechnic, I used to form small study groups to help my peers prepare for upcoming tests.
This will be the first time I do a professional tutoring. In the past I used to do peer to peer tutoring which was amateur.
I believe that you can always build a good relationship by having the right attitude, such as being responsible, be on time and be patience. The rest will just fall in place naturally.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I can keep up with the curriculum through feedback from students as well as finding information which is readily available online.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor should be creative, understanding and patient, which may not be easy as people have various different characters. This is especially true when a student have difficulties in learning or understanding the subject.
Having been struggling myself as a student will allow me to understand the hardship a tutee may experience.
