Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have been teaching english/GP and literature for more than 1.5 years and have seen significant improvements in all my students in both secondary school and junior college.
I make it a constant effort to go to the popular bookstore to look through the different assessment books that are available so that I can update myself with the probable materials that I could include in my lessons so to facilitate lessons with my students. I also check the MOE syllabus to ensure that I align my lessons according to the requirements set by MOE.
As a Good Tutor
I have always believed that every student is unique and that there is no such thing as being 'weak' in a subject. I believe that the key is to motivate students and encourage them instead of pointing out their errors. I make it an effort to alter my lessons and teaching styles according to the needs and pace of my students to facilitate their learning such that they get the most out of every lesson. I strongly believe in taking the soft approach to engage with them so that they would be more bold to share their struggles so that I could help them better.
