As a Good Tutor: A good tutor needs to be able to deliver the contents of the curriculum well. But more importantly, it is important to help the student to digest the information in digestable chunks. On top of that, a good tutor needs to be able to motivate the student and teach the student to learn how to learn. Through my tutoring experience, I have taught students how to plan their own time table and set their own goals. Parents were happy to see their child self-learning at their own time.
