I am a full-time tutor that graduated from NUS Applied Mathematics in 2018. I have been teaching for 5+ years and I specialise in E and A Math. I have ~50 ex-students who improved under my guidance.
I am able to start immediately and will be able to follow through till the end of the academic year.
Rapport Building
I like to interact with children and motivate them to be better. It gives me great satisfaction to see my students improve under my guidance. Additionally, I will always keep their parents informed about their performance during class.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
As I have students ranging from Sec 1 to Sec 4, my knowledge of the current curriculum is constantly being refreshed. This allows me to update and modify my teaching methods when required.
As a Good Tutor
My main aim as a tutor is for my students to enjoy learning and doing Mathematics. Rather than just being a tutor, I think that it is important to be their friend as well, so as to understand them at a deeper level and be their pillar of support if the need arises.
