Commitment / Other Details
I am able to begin immediately. I will be teaching Primary school students and i can commit for 3months in order to guide and prepare them for the PSLE.
Rapport Building
I am great with children and i believe that forcing a child to study will not yield results. I always strive to ensure that lessons are efficient and not long-stretched as younger students have shorter attention spans. Building a strong rapport with parents is also a must as parents definitely do have the right to know how their children are faring and what they need to improve on. I will report to the parents after each tuition session on their child's progress and how i feel they can improve.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I do have a younger cousin studying in primary school and i am currently helping him out as well. In this was i could also keep abreast with the current curriculum.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor should be nurturing albeit strict with his charges. Being able to understand where his students are coming from and what their parents want out of them, and simultaneously balancing both their expectations is what a good tutor should strive for. Good grades will come when students are exposed to smarter study tips and at the same time fully committed to learning something which can only be achieved if a tutor is able to build rapport with both the parents and the student.
