Commitment / Other Details
Guarantee that your child will improve, no questions asked. Identifying weaknesses, thorough guidance as well as interactive and fun lessons are the principles i base my teaching upon.
Rapport Building
I communicate frequently with parents who wish to address any specific needs their child may have or any particular teaching style they would like me to adopt. Will be working very closely with the parents to monitor and guide the child to better grades.
As for the student, I place a lot of emphasis on making the lessons very much less boring as compared to regular math classes. It will of course depend on the child as well, and I feel that i will be able to understand and communicate with them better as i am a relatively young part time tutor. i will do my best to make lessons interactive and i will guarantee that your child will fall in love with the subject and improve in leaps and bounds.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I do my research on the current syllabus and i'm still currently teaching at a tuition center, so i am thoroughly aware of the academic rigor as well as the topics themselves that are tested. I will source for tuition material if needed, but will largely base lessons on materials that the school is currently giving to make sure that my teachings are in line with that of the school's.
As a Good Tutor
I feel that a good tutor needs to have the ability to communicate to the students very well, and once they share the student-teacher bond, only then are they willing to open up their minds to learning. A common occurrence nowadays is that students usually "hate the subject" they are currently taking and hence perform poorly. A tutor's job is to inspire the tuttee to have a passion for the subject, and that can only be done through building a strong rapport that stems from good communication. Also i feel that a good tutor is required to address specific areas in which the child is weak in, and partiently guide them through. A strong drive to perform well, specific polishing of any imperfections, coupled with hard work will guarantee results.
