I usually talk to kids and looking at their perspectives, making sure that actual learning takes place and schedule my class according to their attention span. As for parents, I ask for their expectations and depending on what are their goals, trying to allow their kids to achieve it.

I do attend lessons outside to make sure that I am keeping up to date.
