Tuition/Teaching Experience
I was a teacher for 5 years in USA, teaching Elementary school (equivalent to Primary School). I grew up in Singapore and am quite familiar with the PSLE system
I am currently available and would prefer teaching Primary School English, Math, Science
Rapport Building
My previous teaching experience was in Tucson Arizona where I was the only PE teacher in a school which had about 900 children. I am quite experienced in handling different students, and to build rapport with students, I would usually leverage on common interests, such as sports. As for parents, I would be in constant contact with them to update them on their child's progress.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Having lived in USA, it has made me a little unaware of any syllabus changes, however, those can be easily learnt through my own copies of textbooks and assessment books that I will be purchasing once I am paired with a tutee.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor should have patience, commitment and an encouraging manner to ensure tutees are empowered with the knowledge they are pursuing.
